Unfortunately, it is difficult for us to accommodate tailgating due to limited parking spaces on our farm. We do collaborate with another local farm brewery, which is a wonderful place for families and groups to spend some time after tree picking and to support another Hudson Valley Farm. Their farm, Plan Bee Farm Brewery, is only a four-minute drive from us and offers plenty of outdoor space, including a beautiful pavilion, plus games like cornhole and XL Jenga. They allow outside food and are offering 10% off beer, wine, cider, and cocktails when you show a receipt from our farm. You can find information about their farm at https://www.planbeefarmbrewery.com/.
Alternatively, there is a town park three minutes from our farm that could also be a great place to hang out before or after tree picking. The park has picnic tables and hiking trails. Fires and alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the grounds but it is a nice place to gather and have some snacks or lunch and take a walk.
